This 60 minutes class will guide you how to effectively weave it into hip openers practice with good tension and compression to stay healthy. Stress on a joint causes the secretion of hyaluronic acid which builds synovial fluid and collagen strengthens cartilage.
Also as meridian lines (flow of energy or chi through pathways in the body) and Yin yoga link together, we use poses to target meridian and its associated organ health; here urinary bladder, liver and kidneys.
Yin Yoga is a slow-paced class and postures (asanas) are held for longer periods 2-5 minutes on the floor – mainly hips poses.
